One night at Madurai streets
Posted on 2008-08-24 by bleahlahsja

This is an incident which I never forget in my life… This is a real as well as really a long story…

It was during the end of my college as well as hostel days… In those days, I utilize to roam with my friend Jawahar Manoj in his bike. Though I have been in Madurai on behalf of 4 years, I never got used to roam in all of the predominant streets of Madurai. So, me, Jawahar, Kaalimuthu, Sabari all decided to go on a night drive. We used our kosu’s TVS 50 (a jet machine :)) without saying him the purpose.

I was with Jawahar as well as Kaali was with Sabari in the jet . We dodged our hostel security officer at the end of 9 pm as there's no permission on behalf of anyone to go out at the end of 9. Firstly we started to a petrol bulk where we filled our tanks on behalf of our journey. On the way, we were traveling without a specific target. Our places were through Pasumalai, Bykkara, Periyar Nilayam, as well as the way to Maattu Thaavani where we decided to stop the journey.

On the way, we took numerous photos at various big hotels in Madurai, the parks, near temples, in front of all of the cinema theaters, as well as on the left alone streets. There was no problem towards Maatu Thaavani… As we have no papers on behalf of the TVS 50, we were afraid of police at that time, as well as decided not to go to Maatu Thaavani. After reaching Pudhur, we had a tea time as well as decided to return. It was 2 pm then.

On our way to Periyar Nilayam, we met a group of policemen. They stopped our vehicles as well as inquired us. Already I had a sweat-wash in my face(As this is new to me ). Brilliantly, Sabari escaped us from the police as well as we saved our TVS 50 Thinking we have escaped from the police, we started to the hostel with shivering hands .

I think it was a tragedy day on behalf of us . The next stop was in the Bykkara check post where another set of policemen stopped us on behalf of inquiry. As I was thinking that we wont escape from this second catch, Sabari again escaped the TVS 50 from the policemen, which must have been under trouble. As a turning point in the story, the Pulsar got caught on behalf of the case of over speed. The reason is that the police inspector who was on the spot tried to stop the pulsar, Jawahar went out of balance as well as stopped a few steps crossing the inspector. So, the inspector found a reason as well as caught us there .

Me as well as Sabari left the others in the spot as well as returned to TPK. No one of us had money with us, as well as also not ready to leave the vehicle under the police custody. We two went to the 24 hours shop in Thiruparankundram, where we would take snacks during the night time.

As we were speaking about the situation, the shopkeeper heard it as well as bullied himself in the scenario. He really offered an hundred rupees note to us on behalf of the fine. Sabari took the money to the checkpost as well as returned back to the shop, where I was waiting on behalf of him. After he came back, the shopkeeper again said that he knows a policeman. He referred to as that policeman on behalf of us as well as requested him help on behalf of us. A few minutes back, a call came to him that my friends were rescued from the spot. Then we stayed there till 4 am in the morning as well as returned to hostel.

I won't forget this incident in my life… Do you trust that a shopkeeper, just hearing the speech between us, has given 100 rupees to us as well as requested us to return the next time we go there ? Also, do you trust a person helping an unknown person through his friendship with a policeman ? These prove that helping tendency has not yet found its grave in Our hearts .

Finally, we had our Kosu’s TVS 50 got escaped from the police inquiry
